Led by Dr Virginia Wright, University of Toronto, this multicentre study will: 1) refine the Challenge to meet unidimensionalRasch scaling requirements; and 2) evaluate reliability and validity of the Rasch-scaled Challenge.
In BC 25 children with cerebral palsy (GMFCS Level I- II) between the ages of 5 and 18 will be recruited to complete the Challenge and 3 concurrent measures - the 6 minute walk test, Bruninks-Oseretsky 2 and ASK-38. Results will be pooled with those of the other participating sites and then undergo subsequent rasch analysis , reliability and validity analyses.
