Project Description:
|
The purpose of this study is to better understand brain differences between children with and without DCD and to determine if brain structure/function can change and motor outcomes can be improved with rehabilitation. Children with DCD, aged 8-12 years will receive 12 weeks of CO-OP occupational therapy intervention to work on child-specific motor goals. Changes in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)and motor outcomes will be measured. MRI's of children without DCD will also be examined for comparison of brain structure and function.
