The project seeks to build a knowledge translation platform that supports patient-centered research in partnership with its potential users: patients, families, paediatric health care professionals and decision-makers. The platform design will be informed by the results of a series of consultation meetings with potential users of the platform. Over the period of 1 year, we will gather perspectives from patients, parents, and individuals who work in the health care system on what are the best ways to engage them in research, how they would like to be involved, and what methods of communication would make participation easy, useful, and non-threatening.
